Discover the culinary delights on the Arcachon markets
Stroll among the seasonal fruits and vegetables to fish, seafood and shellfish and regional specialities which come from both the sunny climate and the Atlantic ocean
The centre of the town market is in Halle Baltard on the place des Marquises every morning from 07:00 to 13:00. You'll find a wide range of fresh and local produce. Seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly caught fish directly from the fish market, oysters from the bay, poultry, pastries, delicatessen, local cheese and flowers are sold. Worth taking the time to stop off and have a coffee, stroll around and taste some oysters or other local delicacies.

Organic and local produce market
Every Tuesday throughout July and August from 08:00 to 13:30 you'll find this organic and fair trade market at Le Moulleau. This market is full of delicious smells and tastes: fruit and vegetables, local cheese, honey, local wine, essential oils and cosmetics. There are also non-food products with environmentally friendly and/or eco-responsible designs.
Evening market
During the summer season (mid-July to mid-August) from Tuesday to Friday visit the Place des Marquises from 19:00 to 23:00 and stroll around this local artisans market, presenting local craftsmanship: jewellery, decorative objects, clothes, cosmetics, wooden toys and books.
